Monday's Music ~ Enya
Once the holidays are over, I go through a sort of withdrawl in terms of the lovely sounds of the season no longer filling the air just about everywhere I go. A few years ago, I discovered that listening to Enya is the perfect post-Christmas music. It's rich in melody and in lyrics, and it evokes perfect quiet reflections for the start of a new year.
During the winter season, her video "On My Way Home" is pure eye candy. The snowy setting, the white fur wardrobes, and the suggestion that she is reuniting with her mother and sisters at home is immensely significant.
